In January, 2016 NSPF joined forces with GENESIS, another provider of third-party IACET- approved education to pool builders and designers. In so doing, the combined entity provides education for professionals across the entire spectrum of the residential and public pool industry. This presentation is one of several in the WAHC “Career Training Track” that will call out specific aspects of the instruction being highlighted. And, will call out the pool professionals most apt to benefit by the knowledge to be gained and skills to be imparted.

This presentation addresses the GENESIS Basic Pool Construction School that (in 3 days) moves a student through all the phases of pool construction including: engineering, hydraulics, electrical, safety, shotcrete, plaster, start-up, etc. It will also address the GENESIS Major Renovations School (2 days) that consists of a series of short, targeted lectures linked together by an interactive renovation design project. Beginning with client interview and site reconnaissance information, the students of the Renovations School will be guided by leading industry experts to document project-specific details considering everything from materials to liability concerns.

Both of these programs are common stepping stones for pool industry professionals seeking ways to expand their business from a retail, service, or maintenance focus to include new or renovation construction.
